I practice Swedish, Deep Tissue, Acupressure, Shiatsu, Tui-Na, Thai (Traditional at and Table) and trained in an orthopedic therapeutic massage (The Hendrickson Method). I have experience in corporate chair massage, using Japanese Acupressure (Anma). I also incorporate yoga-inspired stretches and advise to further your relaxation by ‘listening to the body’.

Currently I am also studying to be a clinical herbalist/nutritionist and may be able to guide clients in these areas of health as well.
Book me:email@example.com and write: “Judd/Brisbane” in subject line 🙂
Hello all, my name is Judd.
I am about to complete a diploma in Shiatsu and Oriental Therapies. I have had an interest in Holistic healing since I was a child. I have always been amazed in the power of touch and kinetic energy and the effect that this has on people and animals. I have been practicing healing techniques on people for as long as I can remember and also sharing my path to all who have an interest in wellness and wholeness. Apart from diet, life style and meditation, massage holds a key to relaxation and physical healing or relief from pain or the prevention of delayed onset muscle soreness, (DOMS).
I practice from the relaxation end of the scale of treatment to the remedial end of the scale. The modalities I use are Swedish, therapeutic, deep tissue / remedial as well as Chinese acupressure, Shiatsu which is a type of Japanese acupressure and Reflexology which is thought to originate thousands of years ago. I am trained in structural aligning and can make an assessment on posture and gait as these affect our body and often we can correct these learned postural behaviours. Stretches and muscle lengthening techniques help in this endeavour along with self discipline when it comes to posture.
I am available via Dr.Dot. I am looking forward to meeting you and hope to relieve any pain or discomfort you may be feeling, or on the flip side give you a mind blowing out of body experience that you will never forget through the power of touch.

Book me: email@example.com and write: "Racheal/Minneapolis" in subject line 🙂
Hello, my name is Racheal! Providing ancient healing arts for the artist.
Music has been my life from a young age and has shaped almost every part of my lifestyle throughout the years. Home away from home for the last almost 10 years has been the legendary First Avenue and 7th Street Entry, where I bartend, soak in music, massage and even perform. You can hear and see me taking the stage with my own band as well as any karaoke bar within reach. Combining my love of music with my passion for the healing arts is a necessary step in my career and it would be an honor and privilege to share my work with you.
My amazing education at Centerpoint School of Massage and Shiatsu focused on the intensive East/West program, which includes swedish, therapeutic, trigger point therapy, shiatsu techniques, cupping and Traditional Chinese Medicine. My knowledge and interest has expanded to include Thai massage, lymph drainage, pregnancy, hot stone, aromatherapy and body treatments. I integrate these healing therapies, working with clients to develop a personalized treatment based on their needs. I believe treatments can and should include rehabilitation combined with energetic meridian work for a deeply therapeutic experience.
Working as a massage therapist within a spa and chiropractic environment have fine tuned my practice and along with over 15 years in customer service, I am prepared for pretty much anything. Previous on location and band experience has included talent and their crew on a local Minneapolis level as well as national acts. My ability and willingness to adapt to any travel circumstance is a definite must in this line of work. I believe my professional, dependable rock lifestyle, strong work ethic and positive attitude will mesh well with any situation.
My life already includes working closely with musical and creative individuals, expanding that to a new level is definitely a part of my vision. Thank you for your time and I look forward to working with you!

Hello, my name is Sheila and I became interested in becoming a massage therapist after receiving massage to relieve my own chronic low back pain. I was able to see first hand how beneficial bodywork can be and wanted to help others along their path of healing. After attending the Oregon School of Massage and becoming licensed in 1995, I went on to work in a variety of settings such as Chiropractic offices, retreat centers and running my own private practice.
My quest for more knowledge and expertise has led me into many continuing education workshops such as Onsen, pregnancy massage and doula certification, traditional floor and table Thai, and Watsu, totaling over 1000 hours of education. I am also currently pursuing a nursing degree. My specialty is treatment massages including Deep Tissue, Trigger Point Therapy and Therapeutic Stretching. Each session is tailored to meet your specific bodywork needs.
My knowledge and work has been further deepened by becoming an instructor of massage starting in 2001. I have taught all levels of massage training and at several schools in the Portland area. I find deep meaning and connection from both teaching and performing massage treatments. I'm excited to be part of the Dr. Dot massage team and I look forward to meeting and working on you when you get to Portland.
