The Weblog Of Dr. Dot Stein
Bodywork is Art. I encourage my clients to tune into the sense of wellbeing they want to experience when they step off of my table and move through their lives. Drawing from a colorful palette of therapeutic tools such as Deep Tissue, Swedish, Huna, Cranial Sacral Unwinding, Polarity Therapy, and Thai Yoga Massage, I co-create healing experiences that manifest their intentions.

Hi, I'm Caitlin! I grew up in Southern California in a small town, but I actually love big cities, traveling, and crowds. For the past five years, I lived in the Bay area. I attended UC Berkeley and got my BA in Religious Philosophy. I also minored in Dance and in Creative Writing! I know that sounds like a lot, but I'm really passionate about all of those things so it was fun and interesting.
After I graduated from university, I became disheartened by the lack of opportunity during the recession, so I did some deep soul searching, explored all my options, and decided to go to massage school. I love helping people, I'm very passionate about health and well being, I have a unique understanding of the body as a dancer, and I enjoy the grounded presence massage requires of the practitioner. Best of all, I get to move around (rather than sit at a desk) and interact with people from all walks of life!
I studied massage at the National Holistic Institute in Emeryville. I focused on a variety of modalities, including: Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, Swedish, Shiatsu, Thai, Accupressure, and Energy Work. I incorporate all of these modalities into all of my massages because I tailor each session to your particular body and what you hope to gain from the massage. No massage is ever the same because no two bodies are the same! I graduated with honors and a letter of excellence for maintaining a perfect 4.0 for the entire program. I'm also both State and Nationally certified, so you can rest assured I am a cut above the rest along with all the other Dot Bots 🙂 It is such an honor to work with such an amazing team!
Since graduating I have maintained a small private practice, worked for a Sports Rehab center, and worked in a variety of independent contractor positions. I recently returned to Southern California, where I continue to learn and grow as a massage therapist, and I look forward to being your Dot Bot in the Inland Empire!
Travel, spontaneity, and music are my idea of heaven on earth, so I am also available and excited to tour with you!

My name is Singh.
I learnt massage in India in Ayurvedic style which combine the use of herbal oils for various body problems as per ancient studies. I also learnt Tantra, Yoga & meditation for peace.
In US, I studied Massage Therapy & bodywork from Potomac Massage Training Institute, DC. I graduated in 2007 & started working in the Graduate Clinic. I am trained in Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Thai Yoga, Myoskeletal Massage, Hot stones, all types of body scrubs, foot scrubs, facial, head massage, chair massage.
I am impressed by Myoskeletal Massage techniques taught by Dr. Dalton, and find these techniques help me give more relaxation to my clients suffering from pain, stress, tension caused by Sciatica, Fibromyaolgia, Lyme disease etc.
I am also interested in Lomi Lomi Massage which I feel is very grounded. I also learnt to work on clients operated upon for "Breast cancer" and learnt very tender lympathetic massage, which is very compassionate, soothing and relaxing. I try to give customized massage to my clients as per their body problems.
I am available after 3 pm till 3 am all days. I do incalls/outcalls in MD/DC/VA in homes/hotels/spas

Email me: info@drdot.com and put "Izzy/Manchester" in the subject line to reach me.
Hey, I'm Izzy, a massage therapist currently based in Manchester.
My passions include festivals, traveling and hitching. Summer times are usually spent working the festival circuit in the UK, then going off abroad to travel and to crash as many foreign festivals as possible on the way – for the atmosphere, the music and the freedom! I love music – (listening, playing and seeing live!) – dancing, reading, learning, dreaming, body modification, the outdoors, the sea, seeing the world and, of course, healing and massage therapy.
At 18, I went to study Chemical Physics at the University of Bristol, and it was here that I first became seriously interested in massage. We covered in detail a huge variety of massage strokes and techniques for every body part, and were introduced by guest speakers to many different massage disciplines, such as shiatsu, Thai, Tui Na, sports massage, reflexology and Indian head massage. It was eye-opening. Far before I graduated, I was teaching the techniques involved to newcomers, and knew I wanted to continue to learn and grow as far as possible as a massage therapist.
I am now formally qualified, fully insured and a member of the Federation of Holistic Therapies. To me, massage is about communication through touch, about healing and stimulation, about empathy and intuition, about working as closely as possible with every client to make sure they get the best possible outcome from every treatment. Deep tissue Swedish massage is my favourite treatment to perform, especially over areas like the back and shoulders where the muscle tissue can really be worked into. I try to make treatments as pleasant and relaxing as possible, but intense enough to leave you with that light, floating feeling after-wards!
Working as part of the Dr Dot team is a dream job: doing something I love, in an exciting environment, with the opportunity to meet some very interesting people! I am available 24/7, for tours, for most things! I look forward to seeing you and working with you soon.
Izzy

To reach me, email me at: info@drdot.com and put “Angel/Kassel, Germany” in subject line please.
Hi there, my name is Angela. I liver in Zurich, Switzerland but spend a lot of time in Santa Monica as well.
I was born 1986 in Winterthur, Switzerland in a patchwork – family of artists and therapists. Music, Dance and Bodywork were constant companions in my childhood. Since then my passion for Music, Dance and Massage is growing.
For many years, I was an active member of a Rock-Choir while also studying and performing dance. It was during that time that I also studied and developed several massage-techniques. I am very interested in travelling and experiencing other cultures.
My interest in massage therapy developed in my childhood where I would intuitively massage members of my family and friends. They all enjoyed it very much and the positive feedback encouraged me to go on and further study and explore in this field. One of the important schools I studied in is the “Swiss Prävensana Academy”. For a few years I have worked as a self-employed freelance bodyworker for artists, musicians, and sportsmen; both little known as well as famous.
I am grateful for all the experiences I have had and I am keen to improve on all levels. Over time I have developed my own technique which focuses on punctual intuitive deep massages and energetic massage (anamawe). I am responsive to the individual needs of my clients.
I am ready and looking forward to offering you many happy moments of deep relaxation while massaging you. I do incalls, outcalls and accompany you on tour as you wish and need. To be a part of Dr. Dot’s Team is an honour and a pleasure.
May we all be happy and well and free!
Angela

Contact me at: info@drdot.com and put "Aiko/Paris" in the subject line to reach me fast.
My name is Akiko.
I have worked as a freelance photographer both for the press and the music industry during the last 10 years, although I have always felt attracted by natural therapies and energetic healing.
I thus decided to take up another of my passions and became a masseuse. I was very interested in the technique of Thai massage and decided to get trained directly in Thailand to learn traditional Thai massage. My first trip to Thailand was 5 years ago. Since then, I have given massages to private customers.
Thai massages are best practiced on the floor and I usually use a futon, although I can also work with a massage table. During events and forums, I practice the massage Amma where the client is seated on a chair.
