Massage Delivery service in Montreal, QC

Book me: email me at bookings@drdot.com and write “Mika/Montreal” in the subject line

Hello! My name is Mika.

After meeting many different therapists on a family trip to India, the idea of relieving people’s physical discomfort through manual therapy inspired me greatly.

I came home and began to study Swedish massage, followed by kinésitherapy, graduating in 2011 at 19 years old. Since then, I’ve continued learning through various courses, self teaching and being coached by other therapists. I believe what makes me a good therapist is my ability to listen well, with my hands as well as my ears, adapt to my clients, and stay humble and continuously curious.

What else?
I absolutely love rock climbing. I’ve been doing it for the past 10 years and hope to continue for as long as possible. My top values include growth, freedom, compassion and authenticity.

If you’ve read this far, I appreciate you taking the time to get to know a bit about me, and I’m looking forward to meeting you 🙏😊

Bonjour,

My name is Véronica and I am a registered massage therapist. I have been doing this full time for more than 5 years now, working in collaboration with chiropractors, a physiotherapist and an osteopath – high end clinical experience.
My road to this career was long and varied – Travelling and living all over North America, first in Quebec, then Toronto, then South Carolina (Y`all!), Vancouver and now Montreal. I speak English and French fluently. I used to be a corporate travel agent and a full-time Mom (hardest job ever!), I have also been a choirmaster and piano teacher, but eventually, I realized one of my biggest dreams and trained to become a professional massage therapist.

I have been told I have the strongest hands of any therapist my clients have ever met. I have had lots of different wonderful people on my table, from weightlifters and big bearded tough guys to children and babies (the bearded ones cry the loudest). I do manage my strength though, adapting to each individual client’s needs. I believe that to be a good therapist, the most important thing is to have good communication with the person on my table. A good massage does not only depend on how skilled the massage therapist is, but it is also a partnership. You tell me what you want and need, and I give you the best massage of your life!

I was trained in one of our best schools here in Montreal, Kine Concept, in Swedish massage. I have since specialized in Deep Tissue and that is mainly what I do day in and day out. I have been lucky enough to be taken under the wing of Paul John Elliott, teacher of AIS (Active Isolated Stretching)- I have had the pleasure of assisting in a couple of his training sessions of high-end athletes and national-level physios.

Whether it is for one person or a series of massages- I can do up to 9.5 hours of straight massage.

I look forward to welcoming you onto my table.

Veronica

Book me: info@drdot.com and write "Sandy/Montreal" in subject line 🙂

Hi. I’m Sandy. My passion is reflexology which I have practiced for more than 13 years. This therapy is remarkable for its capacity to profoundly remove energy blockages in the body, restoring natural circulation and deep relaxation. My certification is from the Reflexology Association of Canada.

For those who prefer a body massage, I combine my learning in Californian and Shiatsu techniques with Reiki, Body talk therapy, and elements of the pressure points on your feet to relieve tensions and help you to completely relax.

Originally from Toronto, I have lived and worked in Quebec for most of my adult years, except for on many Saturdays when I would travel across the border/river to offer foot massage at the Ottawa organic market.

Over the last five years, I have had the amazing opportunity to experience another of my passions – living and working in Africa. When I wasn’t busy with a development project, most of my time was spent building a practice in massage; treatment and training in reflexology, which was not well known in that part of the world for its healing effects. I was always happy to receive someone who knew what they needed to improve their health and knew where to ask to get it. They would leave satisfied, and I would be too, to know I was able to help.

As a member of Dr. Dot’s team, I would love to offer you my massage or reflexology services so that you too may feel renewed and energized.

Contact me at: info@drdot.com and put "Fenghua/Montreal" in the subject line please

Hello everyone! My name is Fenghua. I have been working as a massage therapist since I graduated from Capital University of Physical Education (Beijing, China) in 1994. During the four-year undergraduate study, the subject I concentrated on is Sport Health Care and Rehabilitation. The courses I took include Sport Health Care, Clinical Rehabilitation, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Massotherapy, Acupuncture, Qigong, Taiji, etc…

During the 10-year therapy work from 1994 to 2003, I changed my job from Fitness Center to Medical Company, from time to time, while the only thing I had never changed is my passion to do a good massage for my client. For me, massage is not only a job, but also one thing I would like to devote all myself on. I really enjoy the whole process of a relaxing massage with soft asian music, or a sport massage with western rock & roll, even though I am the person who has to do the massage, not the one who receives it.

My passion for Rock can be traced back to my university days. I still remember clearly that I was extremely shocked for the first time when I watched a concert video of Aerosmith! Even in 1990s, it was still not easy for a western rock band to give a live show in Beijing. I had never thought that someday I can watch a vocal concert in live. While, you will never know what may happen next…

Finally, with the theory & practice experience, I immigrated to Canada, Montreal, my favorite city so far. Since coming here in 2005, I have been working as a Senior Massage Therapist. As a member of ACTMD, the techniques I usually apply are Deep Tissue, Chinese, Swedish, Shiatsu, Thai and Reflexology, combining eastern and western perspective and ideas.

At a relaxing location like home or hotel room, I can follow the procedure of a massage treatment: detailed questioning; exact judgement; right treatment and careful direction followed. While, on the concert back stage or just a chair at office, I also can give a brief but efficient, quick but deep massage. Now, life changes again and my dream comes true: among Dr. Dot’s team, it’s time to touch Steven Tyler, Axl Rose, Jon Bon Jovi.

Contact: info@drdot.com and put "Javier/Montreal" in subject line, merci 🙂

My name is Javier, I look forward to massaging you in Montreal..

The constant search for the optimum performance of the human body has always been one of my biggest interests. The desire to understand the biomechanics of the musculoskeletal system and the nature of motion coupled with my innate sensory ability have led me to a constant evolution in the science of touch.

One of my greatest passions is sport. I have practiced soccer, gymnastics, tae-kwon do and kung-fu. Nowadays I practice acrobatics and Gumdo – a Korean martial art that trains with a sword.  (I have more mobility now, at the age of 42, than I had when I was 20.)

At the age of 21, I suffered a car accident that left paralyzed half my body. At that point sport was consolidated as the driving force that led me to explore my own body, in order to regain control over the mobility, the flexibility and the elasticity I had lost. While initially the objective was only to regain the mobility and coordination the accident took away from me, thanks to God and to the therapists that worked with, I was able to improve my performance to the point of practicing competitive athletics. I still have restrictions, but I keep working on them, discovering new exercises and letting the tissue expand accordingly.

My training in sports massage and manual therapy, as well as workshops in shiatsu, myofascial release, structural integration, deep tissue massage, and EMF (electromagnetic field) have given me the tools to apply the appropriate technique to the patient's needs.

My goal through therapy is to be able to communicate properly with the tissue in order to offer the necessary rehabilitation, and to regain freedom of movement for the patient. In this way the person can perform daily activities and maximize their athletic performance.

Massage in Montreal, Quebec, Cananda

Hi!  My name is Cher.  My greatest compliment has been when clients tell me that they felt my massage was like many experiences rolled into one – massage, yoga, physio, osteopathy, meditation … Incredibly complete … Music to my ears!

I’ve been trained in a number of massage modalities – Swedish, Thai, Trigger Point, Reflexology, Aromatherapy and Tapotement.   Come relax and breathe while I listen to your body, and you can enjoy the benefit of a deep tissue or a relaxing, soul-soothing massage and get that blocked energy flowing.  Either one will leave you with improved awareness, released tensions and renewed energy. The result – an improved performance level!

I live in Quebec, on a picturesque country farm, with a babbling brook, surrounded by our lush fruit orchards that my family works and enjoys.  We love to travel and enjoy many music festivals and concerts – rock, blues, jazz and more.  I am passionate about massage and feel privileged to have the ability and opportunity to help you attain a healthier state of body. I look forward to treating you. Just email me at info@drdot.com and put "Cher/Montreal" in the subject line and I will call/write you back asap.  Cheers!

Hi everyone!

I’m Jodi and I have been blessed to be following a path throughout the healing arts for over 15 years. While living on the beautiful west coast of  Canada I attained my massage certification while working with athletes in the area of sport medicine and studying kinesiology,  with this experience I continued my studies and went on to attain my bachelor of science in physiotherapy,  and further completed 2 years of postgraduate work  in medical acupuncture.  I have 10 years of experience working  in private practice setting with all kinds of clients, injuries, and imbalances.

With this background I have built a solid understanding and knowledge of the human body and healing from both a western and eastern perspective. This, combined with my hands innate natural intuition, enables me to easily and effortlessly seek out any “hidden dragons” or relieve or relax any tensions whether new or 20+ years old! No words are necessary! My techniques can range from deep, deep , deep did I mention deep and yes sometimes somewhat painful ( the good pain☺ – of course) to silently deep, painless and powerful, often bringing profound changes quickly, it all depends on the individual!

NO two massages are the same!

These techniques include:
• Advanced training in Manual Therapy  • Advanced training in Myofascial Release Techniques • Active Release Therapy (ART) • Positional Release • Trigger Point Therapy • Advanced Deep Tissue Massage • Sport Massage
• Advanced Training in Energetic Release and Balancing • Craniosacral Techniques • Osteopathic Techniques • Emotional Release Techniques • Body Talk  •  Breakthrough Techniques • Reiki

As love and life has now brought me to the east coast to live in this beautiful city of Montréal,  it has also brought me the great opportunity to work as part of Dr. Dot’s amazing team of massage therapist! What better way to combine the things you love massage, healing, music and travel!

When passion is shared only great things can happen!

Massage in Montreal, Canada

Hi everybody, I’m Amber, a certified Massotherapeute here in Montreal.

I grew up in Nova Scotia, living there until 2001 when I left my ocean home to come study Massage Therapy and practice Aikido – a martial art which demands an awareness of joint limitations, pain thresholds, and acheives gracefulness through efficiency of movement.  A truly beautiful artform which constantly deepens my understanding of the body.

My massage studies include Swedish/Sports massage, Thai Yoga Massage (assisted stretching), Myofascial Release and Craniosacral Therapy – the perfect mixture of techniques for Deep Tissue and therapeutic work!  I massage with or without oil, using a massage table or chair, or simply a floor futon.  I’ve worked in conjunction with acupuncturists and osteopaths, at Sporting events, Martial arts seminars, Massage and Rehabilitation centers, spas, offices, concerts, you name it!

Martial and Healing Arts are strikingly different yet complementary ways of discovering the body, and have resulted in my unconventional massage style –confident, dynamic, and precise.  I’m happy to be part of Dr. Dot’s Massage team, working with the most competant therapists, and some of the most talented musicians in the world!  Give me a shout if you’re in Montreal: Email me at info@drdot.com and put "AMBER/MONTREAL" in subject line and I will get back to you right away.
