Hello! I'm Patch, and I have been practicing massage in Minnesota since 2004.

Before graduating from the Saint Paul College Massage Therapy Program and embarking on what has become a therapeutic bodywork adventure, I viewed massage as many people might – a purely physical experience and a once-a-year luxury. I did not seriously consider any effects other than physical ones, and figured it couldn't be that difficult to give good massages, especially since people had already told me that I had a knack for it. Years and some important lessons later, my experience in the field has changed my perception of massage entirely.

Now, I strongly believe that people can highly benefit from healing touch on a regular basis, and that the intention behind that touch is more important than just excellent technique. I also believe that the effects of massage go beyond physical sensations. When our bodies are massaged and physical change occurs, our thoughts and emotions are also activated – how the body feels affects the mind, and how the mind feels affects the body; therefore, open communication is also vital to a successful treatment. Because of these beliefs, I have begun to make it my goal to not only help people feel better physically, but also more positive mentally after they get a massage from me, with the intention that these changes become part of a new pattern that will decrease pain and discomfort over the long run. As there is always more to know in life, I am continually learning and trying to improve upon my abilities to positively influence people's lives through touch, and I believe that this has put me on a good path.

Whether or not you decide to book me today for a massage incorporating any of deep tissue, myofascial relaxation, Swedish, trigger point, and sports techniques, I hope that you choose to receive therapeutic massages on a regular basis – after all, how many things in life feel good and are good for you? =)

Thanks for reading!
Cheers!
