Tell the Bahamas to Stop Killing Sea Turtles

The World Conservation Union (IUCN) lists all seven sea turtle species as 'threatened' or 'endangered.' Five of the seven species inhabit the Bahamas — green, loggerhead, leatherback, hawksbill, and olive ridley sea turtles. Since sea turtles are known to migrate between waters of the U.S. and Bahamas, turtle conservation efforts in the US are hindered by the lack of adequate protections in the Bahamas.

The Bahamas Ministry of Agriculture and Marine Resources has proposed a rule that will enhance sea turtle conservation by prohibiting all harvest, purchase, and sale of sea turtles and turtle products.

We need your help to convince the Bahamas to move forward with this rule to protect sea turtles. Please take action today to help us get better international protection for these ancient mariners.

The English Language is “DUM”

Still up in Boston. Every time I went out and tried to sing karaoke, there was a RED SOX baseball game on and it was canceled. The folks up here in Boston WORSHIP the Boston Red Sox. I find baseball to be almost as boring as GOLF. Give me a break people omg!!! Even though I am kind of on vacation, naturally I still have to answer over 400 emails per day (for a few days running it was over 500). BUT I am relaxing and really enjoying my stay with Betsy (mother figure/best friend). She is so wise, positive, sweet, funny, practical, motivated, productive, busy busy busy and yet still has time to make the best peanut butter cookies and pancakes on earth.

The USA Treasury Department has just issued a new dollar bill to reflect the state of the economy…

Boston

I am in Boston. The Class reunion in CT was pretty much a big blur. I only went to that High School (Rockville High School) for two years (11th & 12th grade) so it’s not like I knew everyone. I recognized THREE people there. That’s it. One woman came up to me and asked “Don’t you remember me from computer class?????” – erm, NO! I never took a fucking computer class, put the crack pipe down sweety. I stayed for about 90 minutes and headed to a karaoke bar to belt out some Etta James and Ac/Dc. I will write more when/if I get the time/motivation. Not much to say about it though. $50 a ticket, for what? Chicken served on paper plates with plastic knives and cheap ass wine (from a box) server in plastic glasses. “all that we’ve got here’s American made; it’s a little bit cheesy but it’s nicely displayed”  FZ

ps. Odd thoughts pop into my head while driving at night (well, at 3am) at 85 MPH. One, was, how my Mother tried to force me to join the fucking US ARMY when I was 18. I took a break from touring with the Grateful Dead for a month or so, and during that time, she made me cut my hair, start wearing a bra and FORCED me to go to the US ARMY recruitment center place in Portland Maine. I stayed over night, got weighed, measured, tested, all that fucking shit. I was wearing a John Lennon sweatshirt and had loads of hippie jewelry on. They hated me there and the feeling was mutual. Ever see the film Mommie Dearest? Wtf. This army thing happened, by the way, after I said “NO” to my Mothers pleas to let her photograph me naked for Playboy. She had secretly sent them pics of me in a bikini (taken on a beach) and they wrote her back and said “YES, but we need nude shots please asap”. My Mom told me how “this was our chance to get rich and famous!!!” But I was not having it. She could force me to do many things but not THAT. Soooooo, she made life living hell, oh wait, it already was hell with her, I mean, she made the living hell even more unbearable and threatened to disown me and kick me out  (no money when you are 18) if I didn’t go the Army thingy. I am so GLAD those cunts found me unfit for the Army. Needless to say, I moved out of my Mom’s (the projects of Dover NH) apartment and continued following the Dead. Close call that was!! I could write a whole book about that woman, but you would think I was making it up or exaggerating, PLUS I do not want to be remembered as a “victim” of any sort.

Not everyone is blessed with a cookie baking sweet heart for a Mom. Some have manipulative, abrasivve Mothers,  like I had and Eminem still has (and countless other people all over the world) so consider yourself LUCKY as hell if you have a good Mom. Be grateful every single day.

"I saw 'Joe’s GARAGE' on stage at the 'Open Fist Theatre' last night…. it is FUCKING AMAZING. this show FEELS so GOOD… Frank would have LOVED it… it IS a way of life… the SONGS!!! wow, they all work SO WELL in this format… the costumes are great, the colors are great, the singers are great & the musicians are PRETTY GOOD…. excellence…it should be seen by ALL… Frank lives on in a very powerful (& funny) way… prophetic to the MAX… JOE’S GARAGE, an orwellian nightmare, come TRUE… thanks for the heads up frank… but we WERE’NT paying enough ATTENTION… watch SEPTEMBER CLUES… say NO to MARSHALL LAW & the FASCIST police state… KILL UGLY MEDIA, NOW!!! wc"

 

ps. Greetings from Connecticut. Saw my Uncle Jack, Tom and the baby Jeremiah. Walked my pit bull Frankie for hours tonight. I am here for my class reunion. Rockville High School "awesome 80's reunion". So all classes from 1980-1989 may be there, may not. At $50 a ticket I bet it will be rather empty, folks round here aren't exactly rolling in dough and they've been taking a beating from the failing economy. Thanks Bush, You have lead our country down a path of war and poverty. Good going fucktard.

Senator Barbara Boxer is holding a Congressional hearing entitled "The Bush Administration Environmental Record at the Department of Interior and Environmental Protection Agency" on Wednesday, September 24.

3. Remind your representatives about Wednesday's environmental hearing and ask them to participate.
4. Thank your representatives for their time.

Frank Zappa- timeless

You know I am hiding from you right? I know I have to blog, I know, I KNOW. I massaged Kim Raver (24/Lipstick Jungle) tonight for two hours.. coolest thing ever- she has a video baby monitor, looks like a walkie talkie, but you can push a button and see a screen that shows her baby (11 months old) in bed, in the other room. Tiny camera above bed has infra-red abilities and you can see the cutie lying there sleeping.

You can hear it too. He started crying once and we could see her husband picking up the baby, making the baby calm again and then putting baby back to sleep. OMFG. All this modern tech. makes me want to have another one so I can see how easy it CAN be. (I did everything the hard way- cotton diapers, no dryer, couldn't speak the language yet, didn't know any one and baby's dad and I were too broke to pay attention). No internet, no cell, just land line. jeeze, looks easier now somehow. Baby is sick? Google the fucking symptoms and you're golden. Cool! I had to drag baby all the way across town to a German doctor and struggle with the language (mostly sign at that point) lol.

 

Kim is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO gorgeous. I can't help thinking how many men I know would PAY to massage her. Schwing. 

 

  
   

 Kim is a regular client of mine, she is so mad cool and smart as a whip too. Her husband is one lucky man I tell you. I am all over the place, going to massage Motorhead the next couple days and Herbie Hancock again next week, no time for sleep. omg. It's 6am and I still have like 503 unread emails to answer. FLIPPING OUT.
