The Weblog Of Dr. Dot Stein
Bodywork is Art. I encourage my clients to tune into the sense of wellbeing they want to experience when they step off of my table and move through their lives. Drawing from a colorful palette of therapeutic tools such as Deep Tissue, Swedish, Huna, Cranial Sacral Unwinding, Polarity Therapy, and Thai Yoga Massage, I co-create healing experiences that manifest their intentions.

Hello,
my name is Lori. I currently live in Boston, MA. I am a graduate of the Atlanta school of massage in Atlanta, Georgia. I have been a licensed massage therapist for over twelve years.
I am experience in Deep Tissue, Neuromuscular massage, pregnancy massage, hot stone, cranial sacral massage, aromatherapy, and Swedish massage. I drape, sorry.
I love my career as a massage therapist and the freedom and creativity it has allowed me to have. I could not imagine sitting behind a desk all day. After I received my first massage, I was hooked. After many years in a high stress position, during a massage I decided to go to massage therapy school. It's a decision I have never regretted!
I love music, movies, travel, yoga, and animals. I am excited to be part of Dr. Dot's International massage and chiropractic team.

Hello! I'm Patch, and I have been practicing massage in Minnesota since 2004.
Before graduating from the Saint Paul College Massage Therapy Program and embarking on what has become a therapeutic bodywork adventure, I viewed massage as many people might – a purely physical experience and a once-a-year luxury. I did not seriously consider any effects other than physical ones, and figured it couldn't be that difficult to give good massages, especially since people had already told me that I had a knack for it. Years and some important lessons later, my experience in the field has changed my perception of massage entirely.
Now, I strongly believe that people can highly benefit from healing touch on a regular basis, and that the intention behind that touch is more important than just excellent technique. I also believe that the effects of massage go beyond physical sensations. When our bodies are massaged and physical change occurs, our thoughts and emotions are also activated – how the body feels affects the mind, and how the mind feels affects the body; therefore, open communication is also vital to a successful treatment. Because of these beliefs, I have begun to make it my goal to not only help people feel better physically, but also more positive mentally after they get a massage from me, with the intention that these changes become part of a new pattern that will decrease pain and discomfort over the long run. As there is always more to know in life, I am continually learning and trying to improve upon my abilities to positively influence people's lives through touch, and I believe that this has put me on a good path.
Whether or not you decide to book me today for a massage incorporating any of deep tissue, myofascial relaxation, Swedish, trigger point, and sports techniques, I hope that you choose to receive therapeutic massages on a regular basis – after all, how many things in life feel good and are good for you? =)
Thanks for reading!
Cheers!

Hi, I'm Caitlin! I grew up in Southern California in a small town, but I actually love big cities, traveling, and crowds. For the past five years, I lived in the Bay area. I attended UC Berkeley and got my BA in Religious Philosophy. I also minored in Dance and in Creative Writing! I know that sounds like a lot, but I'm really passionate about all of those things so it was fun and interesting.
After I graduated from university, I became disheartened by the lack of opportunity during the recession, so I did some deep soul searching, explored all my options, and decided to go to massage school. I love helping people, I'm very passionate about health and well being, I have a unique understanding of the body as a dancer, and I enjoy the grounded presence massage requires of the practitioner. Best of all, I get to move around (rather than sit at a desk) and interact with people from all walks of life!
I studied massage at the National Holistic Institute in Emeryville. I focused on a variety of modalities, including: Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, Swedish, Shiatsu, Thai, Accupressure, and Energy Work. I incorporate all of these modalities into all of my massages because I tailor each session to your particular body and what you hope to gain from the massage. No massage is ever the same because no two bodies are the same! I graduated with honors and a letter of excellence for maintaining a perfect 4.0 for the entire program. I'm also both State and Nationally certified, so you can rest assured I am a cut above the rest along with all the other Dot Bots π It is such an honor to work with such an amazing team!
Since graduating I have maintained a small private practice, worked for a Sports Rehab center, and worked in a variety of independent contractor positions. I recently returned to Southern California, where I continue to learn and grow as a massage therapist, and I look forward to being your Dot Bot in the Inland Empire!
Travel, spontaneity, and music are my idea of heaven on earth, so I am also available and excited to tour with you!

Hi, I’m Dr. Andy. I’m a chiropractor based in North England.
I have a real passion for my job and a love of live music, so when Dr. Dot asked me to be the first Chiropractor in the UK to join her team, combining the two, I jumped at the chance.
I have a first class degree in chiropractic and I work with chiropractic adjustments, massage, rehabilitative exercise and medical acupuncture to tailor treatment to your needs. The combination of these treatments can really help to relieve the aches, tension and stress associated with traveling and performing – getting results fast!
Whether you are in pain or are looking to improve your general well-being I am dedicated to helping you get the best results. I love the buzz of being backstage at live music and sporting events helping to get your body tuned up so you can be at your best.
I’m based in Stoke-on-Trent, England which is equidistant from Manchester, Birmingham, Liverpool and Nottingham. So if you need an adjustment or two whilst you and your crew are on tour I can be flexible in coming to you.
I am thrilled to be a part of Dr. Dot’s team and look forward to helping you!
