Best Massage in Omaha, Nebraska

Reach me at info@drdot.com and put "Angie/Nebraska"

Good day! My name is Angie and I am based out of Omaha, NE. I grew up in an era of good times with my parents playing Led Zeppelin, Jimmy Hendricks and Pink Floyd in the house. As a young adult, I was a "band girlfriend" and had a serious relationship of several years with a well known local guitarist. I am very familiar with the band environment and understand how hectic things can be from practice to recording to performing. I also know how exhilarating things can be! Well, I’ve slowed down a bit (just a bit, lol) since those days and found my calling…massage.

I hold an Associate of Applied Science degree in Massage and Bodywork and have advanced training in Myofascial treatments, Sports massage and Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy. I have clients from all walks of life, but the majority of my clients have chronic issues relating to overuse injuries, accidents and surgeries or some level of discomfort due to body imbalances. I'm not afraid to dig in deep when it’s necessary, but I give a smooth and relaxing massage at the same time to get the body AND mind to loosen up. It's not fluff massage, but serious therapeutic work. My techniques are a combination of various training and experience over the years. Each massage is tailored to the individual, so every session is as unique as the client and their particular needs.

I'm extremely honored to be a member of Dr. Dot's team…and I am here for you. I'm available in the Omaha / Lincoln, NE metro areas…but willing to make arrangements for specific events just about anywhere if requested. I will work out those knots, loosen tight areas and soothe your tension away. If you are looking for a massage that is immensely effective and deeply relaxing then tell Dr. Dot I'm the girl for you!

Massage in Cologne Germany

Contact me at  info@drdot.com and put  "Chantal/Cologne" in subject line to reach me.

"Let me be surrounded by luxury, I can do without the necessities" – said Oscar Wilde and I love that quote. Getting a massage is a luxury, no one should live without. As I learned several techniques from Shiatsu, Thai-elements, Reiki, Ayurveda up to foot massage, body release and lymph drainage, I work individually, depending on what clients need at that moment.

In my opinion, Dr. Dot represents a true, authentic personality doing the job in a very professional way with passion, fun and respect. I think, that is, what it's all about. I can absolutely identify working and living like this.

Enjoy!

Paramore and You and Me at Six in Berlin

Jeeze, I really hit the ground running this time in Berlin. Day after I landed I was up and at em getting new US passport and a facial, next day massaging Paul McCartney's guitarist, Brian Ray , then saw the show that night (I paid 250 euro for my ticket so I wasn't after a freebie, although I was gutted Paul had no time for a massage).

Next day after Macca show (which by the way was good BUT I could have just watched the DVD I have called Back in the US , live concert footage from 2002 from Paul, which was almost EXACTLY like the show I saw here in Berlin December 3rd, 2009. I mean even the dialog was the same "this is when the band goes away and leaves me alone with YOU" etc. sigh. FUCK!!! I LOVE the Beatles and Paul but had I known the set list and dialog was an exact replica I would have stayed home and slept off a big of this jet lag I STILL have. This below is the best shot I could get from the Macca show:

You can see the set list on my blog of that show HERE

Drummer Zac – only 19 years old and already so successful. This band is going places. Seriously.  Check them out:

http://www.paramore.net/

Singer Josh is a super sweet person (also 19 years old!). This band is from London, keep your eye out: http: / / www. myspace. com/youmeatsix

Paramore was headlining, they are HUGE now. Heard they penned a song or two from the Twilight movie sound track so the crowd was 99.9% young screaming girls lol. The band Paramore are SO down to earth. I got along with the bassist and drummer the best. They are both very chatty and fun. Guitarist was a sweety but very quiet. He and the drummer are brothers. I love meeting young musicians who are ambitious, successful and not into drugs. They will go far, I just have a feeling about these guys. Nashville natives takin' over, yo.

The band You and Me at Six are very popular in the UK and slowly gaining respect in Europe and the USA too. Super young as well, dam I felt old around all these 19 year olds! Hello!! haha. Well I massaged for 9 hours straight apart from the dinner break I had and my fingers were sore the next day, the deep tissue massage I give out is BRUTAL. The clients love it but my fingers are not amused the next day.

Berlin is FREEZING, it is too fucking cold to even snow here. Jesus. Anyway, I am running a slight fever, rather cranky and miss my Jasmine so I will stop moaning now and get to bed

Massage in San Diego, California

Email me:   info@drdot.com and please put "Cheryll/San Diego" in subject line, thank you.

Hi Everyone. My name is Cheryll and I would like to be your massage therapist. I’ve always massaged my brothers, sisters, and friends since I was little, but I became certified after a snowboarding accident. I herniated a disk in my lower back that was so severe, I couldn’t walk more than a quarter of a mile before my leg gave out on me. It didn’t matter if I was sitting or standing, I was in constant pain. My doctor sent me to a neurosurgeon who told me to take pain pills every day and when it became worse, then he would do surgery. Not feeling like that was the answer for me, I looked into alternatives. A friend recommended a massage therapist that specialized in deep tissue. After the first massage, I felt better. After ten massages I felt no pain. Years later, with massage and yoga, my back doesn’t bother me at all. That’s when I decided it was so life changing for me, that I had to do it professionally and help others. I specialize in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports Massage, Circulatory, Shiatsu, and Therapeutic Stretching.

Growing up in Southern California in the 80’s really cemented my love of music. When I heard about Dr. Dot and her niche in the music scene, I realized I wanted to be a part of her team. Dr. Dot doesn’t just let anyone on her team, so I feel privileged and grateful that she allowed me to join her.

Whether you are looking for a relaxing massage or have specific areas that need work, I’m here for you.

Massaging the SCRIPT in NYC

Obviously I didn't take this picture myself, I just borrowed it for my blog πŸ˜‰

Singer ^ Danny O'Donaghue said he really enjoyed the Deep Tissue massage I gave him. He said it was "the best massage I've ever had in my life!". Not bragging, but I hear this from everyone I massage yet each time it still makes me feel happy, grateful and content.

The Irish band The Script are in the USA on tour and have already been on the TV shows 'Ellen', 'MTV total request live' and 'The David Letterman show', all in one week! They are really on their way up to the top. I thought to myself, while in their company with all the buzz around them, this is what it may have felt like for the Beatles on their first ever US tour. Not to that extreme, but I could sense they are about to explode into the BIG time over here in the USA. They also spend most of their time in hotel rooms as they have been touring non stop for the last 2 years, which is really hard on a person. I toured a couple times with bands and it is HELL on the body. Irregular sleeping habits, eating habits, different beds every night, people around you wanting to party every day and night- and I can only imagine how hard it must be to always be away from friends and loved ones for touring artist. They must feel lonely in the hotel rooms. Everyone around them being overly friendly and kind, superficial, always wanting something from them.

 (read their Biography  HERE )

During his 2 hour massage, his iTunes were on shuffle and lots of lovely music was coming out of it. A few songs that came on were completely new to me. They sounded great and the singer sounded a bit like Stevie Wonder. I asked him "who's this?" and he said, humbly "this is us". I was like WHAT!!???? They sound great! When I told a couple friends I was on my way to massage the Script on the first night, they told me "oh, the boy band from Ireland" – so I was expecting a Back Street Boy situation, you know, lots of dancing, rather tedious music but I was very pleasantly surprised to see them, hear them, meet them. My friends were wrong. They ARE a band from Ireland and they ARE male and do have thousands of screaming females at their shows but that is all they have in common with boy bands. They write ALL of their own lyrics and music, just three members in the band (as I said, the bassist is a touring bass player). They don't wear matching costumes on stage and/or dance like 'Dancing Fools', they are fantastic. They opened for Paul McCartney on one whole tour (ugh!! jealous!!). They all praised Paul and said how nice he was to them etc. Swoon.

Guitarist Mark Sheehan got a massage from my assistant Michelle. I will give him a beating personally next time though πŸ™‚ haha

Fame is not as wonderful as one may think it. I have been around famous people most of my life and most seem trapped by their fame. Isolation and panic are always present. I feel for these folks. The least I can do is make them feel good with the best massage I can possibly give them. That is exactly what I did for the Script. I know they will never forget my hands of steel. The bassist was a bit afraid of my hands haha, as he heard how strong they were, but I showed him that I adjust my strength according to whom I am massaging and how their muscles feel to me. The bassist, Ben Sargeant , from the UK,  is a touring (and studio sometimes?) member for the band, not a core member. He is a sweety-pie too. They all are. In fact my fucking face hurt from laughing after being around them.

Ben the bassist ^

They are all so down to earth and ALL have their heads on straight; no bullshit. They are very driven, honest, HUMBLE and just plain fucking NICE. They are fun, hilarious yet not sarcastic or mean (like some up and coming bands I have met in the past). They are NOT letting success go to their heads. None of them seem to have a vain bone in their body, just plain cool. Their Mom's did a good job raising these guys, that is for SURE. Their tour manager (not mentioning his name even though he is a close friend) keeps things running super smooth too, they are on a roll!

 Glen Power, the drummer ^

I really sound like a walking add now for the Script lol. If I didn't like them or if they were pricks to me I would surely write about it, but I only have nice things and thoughts about these guys.  I just have a feeling they will be the next U2. But not as Pompus as Bono, haha. Snap!

Massage in Dublin, Ireland

“Take care of your body with steadfast fidelity. The soul must see through these eyes alone, and if they are dim, the whole world is clouded.” (Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe)

My name is Niamh and I’m available to do Massage in Dublin primarily, but can also consider Northern England (Leeds in particular) as I’ll be back and forth while I do a Masters in Occupational Therapy. While studying for my degree Anthropology I became interested in Medical Anthropology…how different cultures approach health and well-being. This taught me about Massage from a holistic viewpoint, amongst other things.  I went on to train in Swedish Massage in 2004, which I developed by incorporating various other styles such as some Shiatsu, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point work and Indian Head Massage. Blending these in whatever way each individual’s body dictates. However, I firmly believe in a straightforward, honest to goodness, no-nonsense Massage. I’m intuitive and perceptive and will focus on getting to the root of any needs or problems, then work on these with great attention to detail.
I’m into anything that can transform the soul, and for me Music and Massage would be top of that list. Good quality examples of both can do this almost immediately. I love all kinds of music, depending on my mood and what I need…a good Massage Therapist should be able to figure these things out too, and deliver what’s required.
If you’re in Dublin, the ‘dirty old town’, give me a shout.

Massage in El Paso, Texas

Reach me at:  info@drdot.com and put "Melinda/El Paso" in the subject line πŸ™‚

Hello all! My name is Melinda!

Originally a Midwest girl from Missouri, I’ve found myself in El Paso, Texas now for the last few years. I’m full of life, a goofball, driven, and professional all at the same time! After serving in the Army, then being a tattoo artist, then a police officer, I realized I needed a change of pace. So I chose massage therapy.

After graduating top of my class, I went straight to work at a therapeutic clinic and have been there since. I’ve built up a vast clientele and outstanding repertoire with them. I have also been responsible for getting the local music scene and tattoo scene involved in the benefits of massage. Struggling artists, and tattoo artists are often overlooked when they need so much work. My calling is definitely Deep Tissue and Trigger Point! I have the strength to really get into the muscles and work deep. I also practice Swedish, Pre-Natal, Chair, Sports, Myofascial Release, and combinations for individual needs.

My massage therapy teacher had called me the “black sheep” of the class. The “rebel”; and pointed me in the direction of the Dr. Dot team and mentioned that was more “my speed”. As soon as I read about Dot and her amazing team, I knew I wanted to be a part of it. How great to be able to give back to all the amazing talented artists that have given so much to their fans and the music industry.

When in El Paso; contact Dr. Dot for an amazing therapeutic massage experience! See “yall” soon!
