Kate in Minnesota

I was born in Wyoming but my home is Minnesota. I’ve lived all over the state and my passion is to restore the balance between wilderness and civilization. There is nothing I enjoy more than helping people feel better; helping them to make the connection with their bodies and their environment. 

I studied over 600 hours at Lake Superior College in Duluth, MN. I graduated as a certified massage therapist and I specialize in Deep Tissue, Swedish, and Lymph Drainage modalities. This past year I lived in Hawaii and focused on the art of massage and implementing Hawaiian Lomi Lomi. In addition to massage therapy, I have degrees in business, land management and in wilderness and civilization management. When I finish school I will have a BA in Anthropology and a PhD in Ethnobotany (ethno meaning people, botany being plants). Massage therapy is my first step towards a better understanding of Eastern Medicine. Traditional Eastern Medicine is the concept of balance, and the balance of everything in the universe.

I discovered Dr. Dot online and found her opportunities appealing. Working with Dr. Dot I hope to provide you with a positive mind, body, and spirit experience.  I’m currently available in Minnesota and look forward to prospective clients.

The road to becoming a massage therapist has been just that. Starting as a competitive athlete, adopting injuries that let me to self discover my own healing abilities. This started as a coach, leading into being a trainer and awarded “Top Trainer” of Seattle in 2009. During this time I was asking the question what has the body stay in pain. This lead me to discover the brain chemistry and how that management flowing into our lives.

Hence the massage that travels through my hands has a focus on the spine and nervous system. Having training at Ashmed Massage School, Tui Na, Sports Massage, Deep tissue, Thai Massage and global modalities of release

Michel, M.S., L.Ac., LMT is a Licensed Massage Therapist, a Licensed Acupuncturist, and a Diplomate of Chinese Herbal Medicine in New York State. 


He earned his masters degree in Oriental Medicine (East Asian Medicine) and his degree in Massage Therapy at The New York College of Health Professions in Syosset New York. He is Board Certified in both Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine and has experience in the treatment of a wide range of health ailments in a diverse population of patients. 


He is devoted to his work and has collaborated with several types of health care professionals including medical doctors, chiropractors and physical therapists to deliver the best possible care for the people he cares for. Hello! My name is Chyenna and I’m a Licensed Massage Therapist in the Phoenix area. I moved from Iowa the beginning of 2009. I absolutely love it here! I’ve been practicing massage therapy since 2006 and I fall more and more in love with what I do every single day! There is no better feeling that to know that every person I come in contact with not only looks forward to being in my hands, but leaves with a satisfaction that they can’t get anywhere else. 

 

I attended the Massage Therapy program at La’ James International College in Iowa. Soon after graduating I took the National Certification Board for Massage Therapy and Bodywork, became certified and jumped right into work. I’ve worked in a variety of settings, from high end spas to chiropractic offices, and have worked with an array of different types of clients, from field workers to MMA fighters, all of which have helped me develop, grow and learn. I’ve come to realize that I favor deep tissue work, but I’m also able to perform each massage differently to accommodate my clients’ needs. I realize that not every person needs the same type of massage, with the same amount of pressure, and work in the same areas. Each individual has their own tension areas and different goals for their massage. I strive to reach those goals. 

 

The modalities I’ve trained for are Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage, prenatal, chair massage, reflexology, hot/cold stone therapy, and several spa bodywork modalities including sugar scrubs, body wraps, spray tanning and more. No matter what you’re looking for, I’ll perform my best to ensure that you are able to attain a sense of well-being and health in the most enjoyable way possible!

Hello, I’m Jarolyn, Licensed Massage Therapist. I am from the Philippines but have resided here in the U.S. since 2006.
