Massage in Las Vegas Nevada

Hello, my name is Megan I am originally from upstate New York area (we moved around a lot) But I have finally landed in Las Vegas Nevada, I have been here for about 12 years and I love it!! I had to get out of the cold weather!! And what a great place to be, to get warm!! About five years ago I decided I needed a career change!! I have a Degree in Drafting Design and I actually worked in the field for about 7 days before I realized that I spent 2 years of collage and I hated my job!! So that option was out….

I needed to get out of the restaurant biz which I was stuck in for about 15 years!! I was thinking I needed a career that I could help others and get appreciated all in one…. Cuz serving in a restaurant is not the most appreciated job in the world!! People always told me I have a caring personality and give a great massage!! So I decided to check out Massage School and with in the first week of school I knew I was going to love being a Massage Therapist….

Going on six years now I have been a Massage Therapist and lovin every min. I am Nationally Certified, Licensed with the State of Nevada Board, Clark County, and the City of Las Vegas. I have worked in many environments of Massage from Spas, Chiropractic, Poker Rooms, To the Casino Floor (Yes working on the Players as they play!!) I am trained in many modalities like:

Swedish
Deep Tissue
Structural Integration
Trigger Point Therapy
Sports Massage
Cranial Sacral
Reflexology
Hot Stone Massage
Body Wraps and Scrubs
Shiatsu

Over the years I have learned to listen to what the clients want and need from my massage then I listen to what the body has to say too!! Finding the trouble spots has become one of my specialties! I enjoy doing Deep Tissue but I can give a great relaxing massage too. I integrate all the techniques I have learned over the years in to one great Massage Experience!!

Massage in Montreal, Canada

Hi everybody, I’m Amber, a certified Massotherapeute here in Montreal.

I grew up in Nova Scotia, living there until 2001 when I left my ocean home to come study Massage Therapy and practice Aikido – a martial art which demands an awareness of joint limitations, pain thresholds, and acheives gracefulness through efficiency of movement.  A truly beautiful artform which constantly deepens my understanding of the body.

My massage studies include Swedish/Sports massage, Thai Yoga Massage (assisted stretching), Myofascial Release and Craniosacral Therapy – the perfect mixture of techniques for Deep Tissue and therapeutic work!  I massage with or without oil, using a massage table or chair, or simply a floor futon.  I’ve worked in conjunction with acupuncturists and osteopaths, at Sporting events, Martial arts seminars, Massage and Rehabilitation centers, spas, offices, concerts, you name it!

Martial and Healing Arts are strikingly different yet complementary ways of discovering the body, and have resulted in my unconventional massage style –confident, dynamic, and precise.  I’m happy to be part of Dr. Dot’s Massage team, working with the most competant therapists, and some of the most talented musicians in the world!  Give me a shout if you’re in Montreal: Email me at info@drdot.com and put "AMBER/MONTREAL" in subject line and I will get back to you right away.

Massage in Toronto (meet Dina )

My name is Dina and I was born and raised in Toronto, Canada. I spent most of my youth involved in competitive figure skating only to discover later on another true passion… snowboarding! My education as a massage therapist began early in my constant attempts to try and heal my own injuries.

I’ve been practicing the art of massage in a clinical setting for over ten wonderful years. To have the opportunity to help assist clients manage, reduce and heal painful injuries and/or discomfort has been a very liberating and educational experience.

I’m a huge fan and practitioner of Myofascial & Trigger Point massage, a deeper, corrective type of soft tissue release combined with specific on-table body stretches. On the other hand I am just as inclined to provide a lighter more rhythmical massage experience geared towards the stress-laden muscle tension created primarily by our taxed out nervous systems. I incorporate essential oils in most treatments drawing upon my 6 years as a Certified Clinical Aroma-therapist. In addition, I am a Registered Massage Therapist and certified in LaStone (hot stone) and Bamboo massage.

Email me if you want to book me (put DINA/TORONTO) in subject line: info@drdot.com

Massage in Raleigh, North Carolina

Meet Rae, the newest member to the Dr. Dot massage team down South:

"Having a chance to blend 2 of my biggest passions is a dream come true, and I am ecstatic to be on Dr. Dot’s team!!

I was raised by hippie parents on all the right music—Beatles, Zeppelin, Moody Blues, etc.  Today you can find everything from Aimee Mann to James Brown to U2 in my collection.  I am a music fiend!  Much of my youth was spent watching MTV (when they still played music), and I mastered every Janet Jackson routine and Motley Crue drumbeat there was.  I decided early on that I was going to either be a rock star, or marry one.

The night I met my husband, he was playing guitar onstage.  Trying to impress him, I offered to massage his hands, even though I had no training.  I guess I did well, since we’re still together!  Soon after we met, I chose to leave social work behind for massage school.  My first day, a fellow student let me practice on her.  She told me it felt like I’d already been doing massage for years, and I knew then I had found my calling.  I spent the next 18 months learning massage, yoga, reiki, and anything else I could get my hands on.

Looking back, it now seems obvious I was meant to do healing work.  Growing up in an affectionate family taught me power of touch, and it seems from an early age I had a natural gift of intuition.  Using massage and energy work enabled me to heal my body and mind when I developed problems that doctors and medications couldn’t fix.  Now I live a full life without any meds, not even a multivitamin!  It is so important to me to continue sharing this gift with others, to help them take charge of their health.

My approach is intuitively and holistically based, treating your whole being.  I consider myself a channel, working where my hands are guided.  Each session is tailored to your specific needs, and I can provide anything from a soothing Swedish to an intense Trigger Point session.  If you need healing and I’m not available in person, I can send you Reiki as well.

Chances are, I’ll be at your show anyway, so it would be an honor to have you book me: info@drdot.com  (put "for CHANDRA/NC" in subject line).

Thanks, Rae"
