But I mostly work NMT, Sports Therapy, Deep Tissue, and Trigger Point Therapy.
It makes me feel great when my clients get off the table and say “ That was awesome, thank you so much!!!”, and not because its an ego boost for me…it lets me know that I have done my job in helping others feel great!
I am a U.S. Army Veteran, served 8 years in the Army Reserves as a Truck Driver, successfully completing one deployment to Iraq in 2003-2004. Book me: firstname.lastname@example.org and write: "Charlotte/Amsterdam" in subject line 🙂
My name is Charlotte and I’ll be your massage therapist.
I’m 37 years old. Since 2008 I am licensed and working as a massage therapist at an acupuncturist.
At the age of 21 I helped a family member with her massage career and since that my love for helping people with my hands started.
My technique is a mix of the massage treatments I give; Shiatsu, deep tissue or just relaxing. As small as I am I still have the power in my hands to give you a firmly tight massage or if you like; a soft soothing massage.
The massage I give will not only give your body relieve from all the work but will also give your mind some relieve. You’ll be able to relax and enjoy your time.
I love music and love giving massage, So this is the best way to combine!
Hope to see you soon on my table!

My name is Ashley and I am a Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist. I was born and raised here in Charlotte, NC and have lived here all my life. I love listening to music, especially music with a beat I can dance to. For my massage therapy training, I attended the Therapeutic Massage Training Institute and graduated with honors in October of 2007. I have specialized training in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Energy Work, Chair Massage, Reflexology, Pregnancy Massage and Hot Stones. I've been told I give the best Deep Tissue massage ever… so if that's what you're looking for, I'm your girl!
I live and work by Love and the Golden Rule, meaning I treat others the way I would want to be treated. I'm very respectful and mindful of those around me. If you have a specific issue or problem and you like a certain amount of pressure, I treat you the way I would want to be treated if your problems were my problems. My favorite part of being a therapist is when a session ends and the client says, "That was EXACTLY what I needed!"

I feel so fortunate to be able to touch people's lives in a positive way through massage therapy. I truly believe in the healing benefits of massage!
I wasn't always a therapist, however. In my former career, I was a middle school teacher! (I definitely have a first hand understanding of the pain and muscle tension that accompany job related stress!). I am very proud of the time that I spent in the classroom, guiding and motivating students down the right path.
Now, as a massage therapist, I have the opportunity to help educate my clients on their journey toward greater health! I strive to encourage balance in each of my client's lives by providing massage therapy that not only decreases pain and muscle tension, but results in relaxation and greater emotional balance.
