Hello! My name is Amera and I became a Certified Massage Therapist in July of 2011 graduating from Minnesota School of Business. The education I received there was second to none and superior to most.Paired with my passion for massage, extremely strong hands, and intuitive ability to find all the right spots I have had the opportunity to showcase my skills in a variety of settings while gaining experience and confidence.Through school and networking I have had the pleasure to participate in various volunteer events, Special Olympics 2011&2012, MN AIDS Walk 2011&2012, elderly massages at nursing homes, as well as paid gigs like chair massages for Roller Derby Girls, baby showers, girl parties, and an internship at a Chiropractic Practice.I worked for a short time at a small massage business in Minneapolis and a Massage Envy, neither one quite vibed with me because of the cookie cutter kind of massages that are offered. Now I am an independent contractor working with private clients and referrals.I can honestly say I am extremely good at what I do. Chronic tension relief is what my ultimate goal for every session is- that is finding those problems areas individual to each person and performing a variety of techniques to get it to release or loosen up. A massage should be different and unique with a similar goal each time-whether it be for relaxation, rehabilitation, health awareness, or all of the above.The massages I provide are exactly what you are looking for, but I can’t just tell you, you’ll have to try it. Born in Germany, I moved to Belfast in 1997 to embark on an English Literature degree, which I completed in June 2000.

I started my journey of becoming a Massage Therapist in 2004, with a qualification in Indian Head Massage. In 2006 I graduated from the Belfast Institute of Further and Higher Education in Swedish Massage, Anatomy & Physiology and in 2007 with a Diploma in Body Massage. In 2014 I enrolled on a massage training course in Advanced Clinical Massage Therapy with the prestigious JING Institute in Brighton, England. I am currently a second year student on a degree level qualification (BTEC Level 6 – the highest massage qualification available in the UK to date) in Clinical and Sports Massage with the same training provider.

My approach to massage is mindful; I pride myself in working with a careful, listening touch, allowing the body to open and heal at its own pace. I now offer outcome based treatments for long-term chronic pain issues, as well as injuries, and stress related conditions to my clients, as well as injury prevention and post event recovery for the more active. I feel deeply honoured and grateful to work with touch therapies and help improve people’s quality of life and induce a sense of complete wellbeing.

I have been in private practice since 2006. Being a member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists, I regularly engage in CPD training and have post-graduate certificates in Deep Tissue Massage, Massage for people living with cancer (Gayle McDonald course), Seated Acupressure and Holistic Facials.

I am growing ever more passionate about bodywork and have also completed a certificate in Advanced Myofascial Release Techniques, using indirect and structural approaches to facilitate re-balancing and healing of the body.

I have also been working with Reiki Healing for 15 years and feel that I am extremely well placed to offer specialist therapeutic  bodywork treatments, completely tailored to the individual. I combine all my skills to create a unique style of massage that is highly enjoyable and effective in delivering results.

I love movement and am a passionate yoga student in my spare time and have been practising meditation for over 12 years.

Hello my name is Katy and I am a licensed massage therapist living in SC. I am originally from San Diego, but I grew up in Charleston, South Carolina. I became a massage therapist in 2005 because I have always been interested in how I can best help those around me, and I also wanted a career that I could travel with and meet interesting people. I currently have my Master’s in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. I find the combination of Eastern and Western philosophy to be extremely beneficial in the treatment of most clients. I am proficient in Swedish, deep tissue, craniosacral therapy, reflexology, trigger point therapy, and tui-na.
​Having grown up in an artsy Southern town, music has played an extremely important role in my life. I enjoy everything from bluegrass to metal and am always interested to hear new bands that I have not been exposed to. I am very athletic and surf competitively around the country. Surfing has given me very strong hands as well as an acute understanding of pain throughout the body. I have been told that I have a very special and aware touch. Massage therapy has given me the opportunity to make a living doing what I love and to learn first hand while I further my education in an accompanying field.
