Hi, My name is Melanie and I am an LMT. I graduated from NMTI at the end of 2012. I had formally worked in Accounting & Finance for years before getting laid off, and changing careers.
I’m soo glad I did! Becoming an LMT has been the best move for me, as I am a people person, and I love helping people feel their best.
I also have a love for music, with singing and writing in my background; working with the Dr. Dot team is a win win opportunity.

With my therapeutic touch, and attention to the concern of my clients, I deliver amazing results…(so I’ve been told). With that, I cater to a more deeper tissue massage approach, with stretching (as desired or needed), but have no problem administering the medium to light ‘feather’ touch if requested/needed.

I practice, Therapeutic/Deep Tissue, Swedish, Sports, Reflexology, Pre Natal, Hot Stone, some Myofascial Release, chair, and Geriatric massage.

I’ve worked at spas, massage studios, for and with chiropractors. I’ve also worked sporting events, and I look forward in working with you!

Hi there! My name is Shanna, and I am originally from New Mexico. I’ve lived and worked in the NYC, NJ, Long Island and Conn market since 2002. As a graduate of The Swedish Institute I have been a professional LMT since 2008. Healing others through massage has been a passion of mine for most of my life. Using Swedish deep tissue, Shiatsu, trigger points, and energy work as the back bone of my sessions, I have been able to meet the needs of a wide variety of clients. Aloha and Hello!

My name is Lisa and I have been a practicing Licensed Massage Therapist since 2002. I was born and raised in sunny California; as well as practicing Massage, I also enjoy the outdoors, travel, yoga, reading, listening to music, and spending time with my husband and pets! I have extensive experience with clients of all ages.

My preferred modalities include: Myofascial Release, Lomi Lomi (Hawaiian) Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Thai Stretching Massage, classic Swedish Massage, and general energy work that is incorporated into the massage. I believe in using the Breath to allow the client to assist their own selves in releasing tension, particularly that which is caused by stress or emotion. I prefer “full handed” massage that is simultaneously Therapeutic, provides a sense of Relaxation, and allows a client to move closer to a fully-balanced self. All massage therapy is specific to the individual’s needs at that time, and I am always open to suggestions.

I strongly believe in learning new techniques and networking in the Massage and Bodywork Community. I have plans in the near future to explore the following additional modalities: Cranial Sacral Therapy, Cupping Therapy, Integrative Stretching, Foot Reflexology, Watsu (water) Massage, and Trigger Point Therapy. I am looking forward to many more years of learning and practice!
