Hello, my name is AJ. I grew up in a very small town in Northeast Ohio where massage was not quite recognized as a viable career path. However after leaving my hometown and my comfort zone, I did some soul searching and finally found my incredible passion for Massage Therapy. I specialize in Deep Tissue, addressing the chronic knots and tension areas as well as the ever relaxing Swedish Massage. I trained under some absolutely incredible therapists and graduated at the top of my class from Fortis Institute in Towson Maryland. I consider myself a complete professional with a desire to aid in my client’s path to recovery and relaxation. I greatly look forward to working with you!

After retiring from the police department and ending my career as a crime scene investigator (the real CSI), I took classes in massage therapy and discovered a kinder, gentler Kerri. I also discovered that I preferred working with live people as opposed to the dead.

I've been a licensed massage therapist for 4 years now, and I specialize in deep tissue massage and chair massage. I am familiar with the consequences of stress and the negative impact it can have on normal, everyday living, and I've discovered that massage therapy can be a viable alternative to anti-depressants and other medication.

I currently live on a sailboat with my husband and together we plan to see the world on our own terms, traveling with my massage table. Hopefully, I'll sail to a port near you!

Baltimore honors native son with 'Frank Zappa Day'

Zappa_Bust

Baltimore's mayor has declared a "Frank Zappa Day" on the birthday of the late rocker and native son.

Mayor Sheila Dixon declared the special day Monday. The eccentric musician was born in Baltimore on Dec. 21, 1940. He died in 1993.

Last week, Baltimore's public art commission decided that it will erect a bust of Zappa outside a public library.

The bust was given to Baltimore by fans of Zappa from Lithuania, where his music was popular among the avant-garde in the early 1990s. A similar bust is a tourist attraction in Vilnius, the Lithuanian capital.

I am Jennifer and I've been a Licensed Massage Therapist for 8  years. I received my education at Southeastern School of Neuromuscular and Massage Therapy in Jacksonville, Florida. I am also nationally certified. I specialize in Neuromuscular massage, and also have training in Swedish Massage, Myoskeletal Alignment Techniques, Zero Balancing, and Sports Massage. My massage tends to combine the best of all the techniques I've learned for the benefit of my clients. I love to meet and work with new people as well as see long-term healing with my regular clients.

I became a massage therapist after receiving massage for an injury. I know what it is like to hurt, and what it's like to become pain-free. My main goal is to get all of my clients in the best muscular health I can!

I found my passion in life through my own healing when I was a teenager. All the techniques that helped me to heal I began studying to help people and animals in their own well-being. I am grateful to be able to help support others and do so from my heart.

I was approached to join Dr. Dot's international team and felt very honored at the opportunity. I have the soul of an adventurer which makes this such a wonderful experience to meet some great people and do what I love at the same time. I really enjoy all types of music and love to dance.

Massage in Baltimore, Maryland

My name is Bill. My massage style is integrated; Using a combination of Myofascial and Neuromuscular/Trigger Point techniques, I focus on clinical, sports, and musical instrument related injuries.

I was certified as a massage therapist in 2005 after a career in Information Technology and Education. My advanced massage education has focused on trigger point, sports, and stretching.

I was a junior in high school when Pet Sounds and Sargeant Pepper were released. I joined the AVA to get out of lunch and study hall so as to listen to records in our office. Oh, I was also a band nerd (clarinet). My 3rd and most treasured LP was clear orange vinyl copy Todd Rundgren's group ‘Nazz'. I also was from Philadelphia. Saw Elton John's first show in Philadelphia at the original Electric Factory (the girl I took can't remember being at the show, duh); Saw The Who do ‘Tommy' there, also. Saw Jimmy Hendrix at the Spectrum in 1969 from the 5th row the day after my senior prom. I was a DJ on Trenton State College's 5 watt FM radio station WTSR (Wonderful Witzer) and on the Concert Committee. The rest of that section of my life is blurry, but I do remember seeing Bruce and the E Street band at Uncle Al's Earlton Lounge as we were deciding if they should play on campus πŸ™‚

So, I heard about Dr. Dot from a former student of mine and interviewed with Catherine. I am available for site work in the extended Annapolis/Eastern Shore, Baltimore, Northern Virginia areas and I will tour and I am as durable as any roadie. You will not be disappointed.

Email me at info@drdot.com and put "Baltimore/Bill" in the subject line and I will answer you straight away.

Thanks
