Hi, I’m Dawn originally from Gloucestershire but now living in South Manchester.  I have always had a passion for health and well-being and took my first aerobics class at the age of nineteen.  I taught a wide variety of classes before I qualified as a Personal Trainer, this has given me many years of experience in how the body works and functions.  After ending a career in teaching in further education I have put my skills and experience to further use in gaining my VTCT sports massage qualifications.

I listen to the needs of each client and adapt my massage techniques to suit them whether they require a deep tissue/sports massage or a more relaxing Swedish one.  It is important to me that every client feels they have had a positive experience and that their condition has improved before they leave.

Dr. Dot was recommended to me by a colleague and I am very happy to have been accepted as part of the team.

I look forward to working with you!

California & New York State Licensed and Nationally Certified in Massage Therapy, I received my Associates Degree in Health Sciences at the renowned Swedish Institute in Manhattan.

A west coast native, I spent significant time in New York City from 1997 through 2013 where I maintained an extensive private practice in which I had the honor of working with a wide range of clientele from the upper echelons of Manhattan to cancer survivors to the underprivileged sick and elderly.  My volunteer work has included touch therapy for patients and their families at the Ronald McDonald House,  Augustana Lutheran Home for the Elderly as well as post-event massage for participants of the NYC Marathon.

Well versed in multiple modalities, I provide the finest therapeutic massage through techniques such as Swedish, Sport/Deep Tissue, Medical Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, and Shiatsu.  I enjoy the versatility of my profession and incorporate the best of these techniques into my work giving my clients the opportunity to experience and learn more about what works best for them as an individual.  Through client-therapist communication this can be a great channel for fine tuning future sessions or simply a delicious way to relax, de-stress and rejuvenate body and spirit.

24 hour Massage and Yoga Service – in Tucson, Arizona

Dawn currently makes her home in Tucson, Arizona

Her family stems from Washington for six generations. She lived in Bellingham as a small child before living in Taiwan, Italy, Oregon, California, New Mexico, and eventually spending most of her life in Arizona. She has raised three beautiful daughters and is lending a hand in raising three step-daughters. She has four Grandsons, a couple adopted Granddaughters and several Fairy Goddaughters that she has collected over the years.

Dawn is an 800 hour Graduate of the Yoga Therapist Program at Spirit of Yoga and Southwest Institute of Healing Arts in Tempe, Arizona. Her training also included 100 hours of Yoga Nidra, a deep guided meditation.

To complement this program, she was trained in Transformational Life Coaching and Yoga Coaching. To round things out, she also studied Aroma Yoga, Thai Yoga Massage, Crystal Healing, Ayurveda, and Hypnotherapy.

In the year 2000, Dawn earned the country’s first Associates of Applied Science Degree in Therapeutic Massage with a specialty of Sports and Spa Therapies at Rainstar University in Scottsdale, Arizona. She was invited by the administrators of the school to earn the degree before it was offered to the public paving the way for students all over the country to be able to take their education to a higher level.

Outside of the classroom, Dawn continuously works on her own personal growth through various workshops and seminars. She discovered PSI Seminars in the Spring of 2007. It was the catalyst for her personal life transformation. It began with the Basic Seminar, a four day experiential personal growth workshop. She then attended two of their retreats on a ranch in Clear Lake, California. The first was PSI-7, a seven day intensive personal growth retreat where she learned to face her fears and keep moving forward. The second was a 10 day retreat focused on women’s leadership.

It was here she learned to appreciate her own value as a woman and to appreciate all the women around her. To practice applying these new tools, she joined a 90 day goal setting leadership team with several other like minded people. This was when the real transformational work started.

Every day for 90 days, she was accountable to her team and a personal coach to stay focused on her goals. After that experience, she joined another leadership team focusing on wealth and community service here and abroad. This team started a community service Christmas program in the inner city of Phoenix, Arizona and also traveled to Egypt to spend some time with the children just outside of Cairo. Taking all of this experience forward, she was invited to be a coach on the next 90 day leadership team. This is when she discovered she wanted to coach people as a career.

When Dawn isn’t working, she enjoys all things creative and artistic. You can find her at one of the local coffee shops or anywhere she can browse through shelves of books. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, being outdoors, and learning new things. Gardening and cooking are two things that relax her.

If you see her out somewhere, be sure to say “Hi!” and introduce yourself!

Born with an intuitive sense of compassion, Dawn naturally found her way to the Healing Arts. After completing a 1000 hour program, she was invited by the administration of her school to be the first person in the USA to qualify for a college degree in Massage Therapy, setting the pace for an industry standard. She feels blessed to do what she does for a living and never feels like she is working. It’s part of a holistic lifestyle. Live music is a healing modality for her. The vibrations of the music literally take her to another place…out of her head and into her heart.

When not giving massages, Dawn is creating something artistic, reading, gardening, cooking, doing yoga, or being with family and friends. She gives much of her time back to the community donating massages and organizing fund raising events, her first event being a Rock n Roll show to raise donations for over 500 school children in the inner city of Phoenix for Christmas. Local bands and individual musicians volunteered their time and talent to create a fun, successful event. Dawn has also traveled as far as Egypt to “be” with some of the local children of Cairo to increase their awareness of what is possible in their lives. What she took back from that trip was an expanded awareness of herself and continues to grow as a therapist and a person through continuing education and “being” with people from all walks of life.

Dawn’s massages are an intuitive blend of Deep Tissue, Swedish, and Reflexology. Of course, each individual is different and your massage will be what YOU want. Dawn has extensive experience working with professional athletes, professional musicians, and people of all ages from birth to their last days of this life. Pregnancy massage is also available at all stages, during labor, and post-partum. Past clients have had health challenges from minor fatigue and depression to immune disorders and advanced cancer. Additionally, she also has experience teaching Sports and Spa classes to other Massage Therapists and has done Corporate Chair Massage at countless events and businesses.

She looks forward to connecting with you!
