My mother always encouraged musical influences in my life. When I was young, she enrolled me in piano lessons, which I, at first, dreaded going to. Now looking back, I’ve come to appreciate the difference it has made in creating a passion to use my hands in bringing joy to others. This eventually had an influence in the profession I love so much today.

I made it backstage to my first all-day concert at the age of 16. I had the opportunity to rub elbows with 311, Incubus, Stir, Violent Femmes and others–I still have my sharpie marked jeans. I’ve made it to the point where I almost always need music playing in the background whether it be Tool, The Beatles, Rush, or even some classical Chopin. Needless to say, I’ve grown up since that first show and always welcome the chance to work with these talented artists.

I’ve worked in some of the top hotels and spas in Utah for the last 7 years. This has given me the opportunity to work with people from all over the world with different tastes and preferences. I utilize many different modalities to customize and cater to the needs of the individual on my table.

Massage in Palm Springs, California

Hi, my name is Courtney. I was born in 1988 and raised in Riverside, CA. My parents were both Flight Attendants, so I grew up very fast. I learned how to be an independent self-thinker and a problem solver. I spent most of my free time growing up playing softball and riding dirt bikes. I have always had an interest in the athletic medical field. Throughout high school, I took ROP classes consisting of Sports Medicine and Medical Terminology. I was also the assistant athletic trainer at my high school.

After I graduated high school in 2006, I decided I wanted to attend massage school. I wanted to have a profession that allowed me to help people in a medical way. I enrolled in the massage therapy program at Intercoast Colleges in Riverside. The techniques I learned include Swedish, Deep Tissue, Myofascial, Sports, Stretching, Hot Stone, and Acupressure. I completed this program with just under 800 hours of hands on training and technical knowledge. After I received my certificate, I attended the School of Holistic Touch in Ontario, CA. There I studied Sports Massage. I learned in great detail how to identify specific conditions and how to get to the “root of the problem.” I complete this 32 hour course and received my certificate in Sports massage.

I am now living near Palm Springs, CA. I am a marine wife and a mother. I have had plenty of massage experience from working in day spas and gyms. I believe that “No two people are alike.” I treat every client as an individual. I have a very broad range of knowledge in the massage field and I am very confident in my work. I received the award for “Best foot massage in the Inland Empire” for 2009 by the Inland Empire magazine. I am also a State Certified Massage Therapist and I am thrilled to serve you in Southern California.

Best Massage in Los Angeles California

Email me at info@drdot.com and put "Syndee/LA" in the subject line please πŸ™‚

Hey there… I’m Syndee! My passion for massage grew out of my childhood as a young dancer. Dance taught me about grace, power, beauty and expression, and also fragility, limitation, humility, and patience. Naturally kinesthetic, body knowledgeable, and intuitive, my friends and family have always come to me with their aches, pains and injuries of the body, heart and mind. After graduating college in 2002 I was invited to teach a workshop in Australia where I would stay for six years cultivating my massage practice. In 2008 I moved back to California to continue studying bodywork at the Institute for Psycho-Structural Balancing and the Life Energy Institute.

Bodywork is Art. I encourage my clients to tune into the sense of wellbeing they want to experience when they step off of my table and move through their lives. Drawing from a colorful palette of therapeutic tools such as Deep Tissue, Swedish, Huna, Cranial Sacral Unwinding, Polarity Therapy, and Thai Yoga Massage, I co-create healing experiences that manifest their intentions.

Great Massage in St. Paul, Minnesota!

Contact me: info@drdot.com and put "Patch/MINN" in subject line, thanks πŸ™‚

Hello! I'm Patch, and I have been practicing massage in Minnesota since 2004.

Before graduating from the Saint Paul College Massage Therapy Program and embarking on what has become a therapeutic bodywork adventure, I viewed massage as many people might – a purely physical experience and a once-a-year luxury. I did not seriously consider any effects other than physical ones, and figured it couldn't be that difficult to give good massages, especially since people had already told me that I had a knack for it. Years and some important lessons later, my experience in the field has changed my perception of massage entirely.

Now, I strongly believe that people can highly benefit from healing touch on a regular basis, and that the intention behind that touch is more important than just excellent technique. I also believe that the effects of massage go beyond physical sensations. When our bodies are massaged and physical change occurs, our thoughts and emotions are also activated – how the body feels affects the mind, and how the mind feels affects the body; therefore, open communication is also vital to a successful treatment. Because of these beliefs, I have begun to make it my goal to not only help people feel better physically, but also more positive mentally after they get a massage from me, with the intention that these changes become part of a new pattern that will decrease pain and discomfort over the long run. As there is always more to know in life, I am continually learning and trying to improve upon my abilities to positively influence people's lives through touch, and I believe that this has put me on a good path.

Whether or not you decide to book me today for a massage incorporating any of deep tissue, myofascial relaxation, Swedish, trigger point, and sports techniques, I hope that you choose to receive therapeutic massages on a regular basis – after all, how many things in life feel good and are good for you? =)

Thanks for reading!
Cheers!

Hi, I'm Mary, I live in Dallas, where I was born and raised. When I was little my grandmother always told me I should be a massage therapist, so eventually, after earning my associates degree and having two beautiful girls, I realized she was right.

I have been a licensed massage therapist for about 6 years and I am lucky, I truly enjoy and have a passion for my work. The list of my skills and modalities is long and boring, of course they include Swedish, Deep tissue, and hot stone. Basically, I am a people orientated therapist and every massage is tailor-made based upon your needs. I am also CPR and first aid certified, just in case.

This opportunity to work for Dr. Dot is awesome! I look forward to meeting you.

Hi, I’m Dr. Andy. I’m a chiropractor based in North England.

I have a real passion for my job and a love of live music, so when Dr. Dot asked me to be the first Chiropractor in the UK to join her team, combining the two, I jumped at the chance.

The combination of these treatments can really help to relieve the aches, tension and stress associated with traveling and performing – getting results fast!

Whether you are in pain or are looking to improve your general well-being I am dedicated to helping you get the best results. I love the buzz of being backstage at live music and sporting events helping to get your body tuned up so you can be at your best.

I’m based in Stoke-on-Trent, England which is equidistant from Manchester, Birmingham, Liverpool and Nottingham. So if you need an adjustment or two whilst you and your crew are on tour I can be flexible in coming to you.

I am thrilled to be a part of Dr. Dot’s team and look forward to helping you!

Massage in Baltimore, Maryland

Email me at info@drdot.com and out "Kerri/Baltimore" in the subject line please πŸ™‚

After retiring from the police department and ending my career as a crime scene investigator (the real CSI), I took classes in massage therapy and discovered a kinder, gentler Kerri. I also discovered that I preferred working with live people as opposed to the dead.

I've been a licensed massage therapist for 4 years now, and I specialize in deep tissue massage and chair massage. I am familiar with the consequences of stress and the negative impact it can have on normal, everyday living, and I've discovered that massage therapy can be a viable alternative to anti-depressants and other medication.

I currently live on a sailboat with my husband and together we plan to see the world on our own terms, traveling with my massage table. Hopefully, I'll sail to a port near you!

Massage in Leeds, England, UK

Hello, I am Desiree and I am based in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England.

Before I moved over to England 3 years ago, I was working as a Medical Assistant at a GP in Germany for 14 years. In 1997 my best friend introduced me into the world of Alternative Medicine. I got really interested in it and decided that I wanted to work within this field myself. I completed a vocational study to become a Non Medical Practitioner, joined a Homeopathy course for 2 years and learned how to provide Cranio Sacral Treatments.

My job has always been my passion but when I decided to move to England I was not able to continue working in this area as the UK’s health system works different. Since then I am working as a Head Housekeeper in a busy 4* Hotel in Leeds but I missed working with patients or providing treatments. So I decided in 2009 to find a different way. I started with a Kinesio Tape course. I was so impressed but also frustrated that as I did not have any massage or physio qualifications required to be able to provide such treatments. So I had to take it a step further.

And here I am now, with a qualification in Swedish Body Massage (ITEC Level 3) and a VTCT Level 2 in Complementary Therapy. I am still attending College for a Level 3 in Complementary Therapy (Reflexology and Aromatherapy).

I finally found the perfect way to do what I am really really good at! I absolutely enjoy getting my hands on and providing a good treatments and a strong massage. Being able to join the Dr. Dot team is a real honour as this team is the Best! And I am very proud to be part of it now.
