Book me:email@example.com and write: “Traci/Los Angeles” in subject line 🙂
Hi, my name is Traci, and I have been a massage therapist since 2004. It has been a long and winding road to find my ultimate passion in the healing arts. I’m originally from Buffalo, NY, and I have lived in Los Angeles for years. At an early age I was drawn to massage as my mother chose me to work on her “bad back.” She was the first of many to say that I have strong, healing hands.
I have a science background as a pre-medicine student at Northwestern University, although I elected not to go to medical school. I become deeply interested in the mind-body connection and instead pursued social work. I bring deep listening skills to my bodywork, tuning into the needs and wants of the client. My philosophy is that I facilitate healing and wellness for the body, mind, and soul.
My massage work is very intuitive, fluid, and therapeutic. I specialize in Deep Tissue, and if requested I incorporate other modalities such as Swedish, Sports, Lomi Lomi, Craniosacral, Reflexology, and Thai. I love to travel and had the opportunity to learn Thai massage, at the source, in Thailand! I truly enjoy working on artists and athletes, and I welcome the opportunity to bring my healing, “feel-good” touch to you.

Book me:email@example.com and write: “David/Los Angeles” in subject line 🙂
David, B.A., C.M.T., is a muscular specialist who has studied extensively on the best ways to relieve a great amount of muscular tension, pain, and discomfort in the neck, back, shoulders, and body.
After graduating from California State University, Northridge, in pre-med and Education, David began a teaching credential at Loyola Marymount University. He found a job as a massage therapist to earn money for student teaching and since he had many courses on anatomy and physiology, he discovered that he had a special talent for muscular/deep tissue therapy and was able to help heal difficult neck and back problems surprisingly fast. He used the same finger technique for playing classical piano in all his massages and that technique helped keep his hands in great condition, while going very deep into the muscles.
His reputation grew as he worked as the director of soft tissue/muscular therapy at a Premiere Chiropractic Center, the Four Seasons Hotel, and the Beverly Hills Hotel. He currently helps heal common and more difficult sports injuries at a country club in the Los Angeles area, for the Peninsula Hotel, for the Los Angeles Triathlon Club, in addition to patients at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and for the UCLA Sports Medicine Clinic.
He studied with Cynthia June Sakelik, IPSB massage school and did a 3 year one-on-one internship with the master soft tissue Chiropractor, Dr. Richard Semel. David is very easy to work with and offers a great deal of knowledge and experience to the Dr. Dot Massage Team.
Book me:firstname.lastname@example.org and write: “Amy/Los Angeles” in subject line 🙂
Hello! My name is Amy and you know what they have this saying, “If you love what you do, you will never work a day in your life” I am a massage therapist, this is what I do and I love it! I am a certified massage therapist and graduated in 2011, from Charter College in Lancaster, California. My main favorite things to do are meet people and help them in any way I can. I love mixing up Swedish and deep tissue massage, but I will do both or one as you request. (I love giving Deep tissue massage by the way!) I enjoy working with the others to improve their health and wellness. I love to touch and maybe change someone’s life.
I am Deaf, and I have no problem communicating with anyone. People often asks me this, “What is it like to be Deaf? What was your life like when you grew up?” Being Deaf is just like putting earmuffs in your ears, ta-da! You’re deaf! Haha. I grew up being around my family signing and a lot of hearing people. I have a lot of hearing friends and they learned American Sign Language from me. So, I am in both worlds, I hang with Deaf and Hearing people in many different ways. I love it.
What do I enjoy when I am not working… Taking my dog to the beach for a walk/jog, teaching my dog or people sign language, play softball, hang out with my family and friends, and when I feel like learning something different, I like learning signs from Japanese Sign Language and British Sign Language.
