In 1999 Melissa began her massage therapy journey in Japan where she fell in love with spa’s and body care. She obtained her BFA from the UofM in painting. She graduated from Saint Paul College with over 1500 hours of massage training. 

She is also fluent in lomi-lomi, deep tissue, sports massage, lymphatic drainage, cranial-sacral, intuitive medium work, cupping , scrapping and her very special ” Scout” tool certified. Melissa has also obtained her personal training, holistic nutrition coaching, “three hearts balancing” energy healing, laughter yoga, yoga, ordination,
meditation and many other certifications that enhance her overall knowledge of bodywork. Melissa believes in the body’s ability to heal itself and that massage therapy is one of the many paths to restoring health and wholeness to the body.

 She is currently obtaining her Thai Massage certification. Her areas of independent study and interest include her family, friends and making movies.

Hi! I am “The James Of All Trades,” as once dubbed by a co-worker: massage therapist, flying trapeze instructor, singer, actor, dancer, musician, composer, math tutor, rock climber, athlete…and most importantly, husband and father.

I graduated from Swedish Institute: College Of Health Sciences, the prestigious New York City program that is heralded as one of the best massage schools in the country in 2015. Less than a year later my family and I relocated to Las Vegas to build my practice. En route to building that practice I have worked in gyms, spas, a chiropractic office, and many hotels and homes. I have worked with professional athletes, musicians, and circus performers, clients with injuries, disabilities, and those who just need stress relief from the daily grind.

Being an athlete myself, my specialties include sports massage, deep tissue, medical, prenatal, cupping, stretching and more. I customize each and every massage. If you have a request, please ask and I will try to accommodate you.

Dr. Carolyn is an extremely talented Board Certified, Licensed Chiropractor and Massage Therapist who lives in her family’s beloved hometown of Buffalo, NY. 


 She practices primarily in the greater Buffalo area, but is also potentially available to work in the Rochester, Canandaigua, Finger Lakes, Syracuse, and Utica regions of New York State as well.  Carolyn gives her Dr. Dot clients the ability to choose from several possible treatment options, offering a variety of different chiropractic and soft tissue massage therapies, either as separate individual treatments, or together as one extensive session, that includes a unique combination of both kinds of services.  

Dr. Carolyn just recently graduated with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from New York Chiropractic College, after spending her last year interning at a number of different clinical rotations in Buffalo, including the Depew Health Center, Lighthouse Chiropractic Clinic, University of Buffalo student health center, and two Salvation Army community center locations. 

Carolyn previously received a Bachelor’s degree, Magna Cum Laude, from Buffalo State College, with a major in Integrative Biology. However, she spent her last undergraduate semester studying abroad in Florence, Italy, enjoying a once in a lifetime opportunity to travel and participate in an assortment of dance classes.  


Dr. Carolyn is well known for having such a remarkable level of enthusiasm, refreshing optimism, and genuine empathy, with every single patient she meets. Not only is she a wonderful person with an absolutely amazing drive to help people and extraordinary passion for making people feel better, but she is also an exceedingly smart and deceivingly strong chiropractor too.
