Hi there! My name is Lyndsy and I would like to thank you so much for taking the time to learn more about me and the services I have to offer. I feel honored to have been selected to be a member of Dot’s team. Not very many people have had the privilege, as I have, to work on so many elite clients. From musicians and professional athletes to the little old lady down the street that needs a little pep in her step, every person on my table is treated first and foremost with respect. Every massage is customized for the individual, and is never the same as anybody else’s.
My journey in life started in Riverside, California, but having a free spirit and a sense of adventure, my wandering across the United States has finally decided to make it’s last stop in Houston, Texas. Growing up, my mom and dad would always have me massage them. I love music, art, and nature. As a young child, helping people was always an interest of mine, now I am helping people.
I graduated top in my class at GLIT medial careers in Erie, Pennsylvania in 2002 for massage therapy. I don’t just massage people, I dance with my hands. People sometimes ask me if I really like massage therapy, and I tell them no, that I love it. People look forward to seeing me, so I love going to work. Over the years I have taken many classes to build my career and grow as a person. Some of the techniques I perform are: Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports, and a little blend of all of the above. I am prenatal certified and can accommodate the needs of those expecting as well. With my strong, warm hands, positive attitude, and a pleasant demeanor, you will feel fabulous. To me, massage is art, and I want to paint the world.

If I look familiar, it’s because before I began studying Chinese Medicine, I was enjoying a reasonably successful career as a stand-up comedian. However, all the late nights, the onion-ring dinners, and the travel got to me, so I decided to find another way to improve the world.
In 2003, I retired from comedy, and soon thereafter I began to study Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine. While obtaining my advanced degree, I had the opportunity to move to Hong Kong and intern at Baptist Hospital under the supervision of master acupuncturists. It was in Hong Kong where I treated my first professional rugby player, and learned how to get real results in the course of treating pain and repetitive motion injuries. After my return to America, I continued my post-graduate studies in pain management, and began studying Zheng Gu Tui Na (Chinese Medical Massage) in New York City.
Acupuncture doesn’t just eliminate physical pain; Chinese Medicine can safely treat Stress, Anxiety, and Depression. In my practice, I’ve successfully used acupuncture to treat a variety of complaints including anxiety, fatigue, heart palpitations, and panic attacks. I’ve also been able to help patients quit smoking and reduce dependency on various other substances. Furthermore, acupuncture is incredibly beneficial for hormonal imbalances that can cause hair loss, infertility, hot flashes, or other maladies that might interfere with your tour.
I’m licensed to practice Chinese Medicine in both Illinois and California, and I look forward to working with you soon.

I started life as a traveling gypsy around the country when I was only 19. Being already deeply in love with life on the road and seeing incredibly memorable live concerts and DJ’s, propelled me to keep chasing my “wanderlust”. As I struggled through noticing our nation’s and my own health challenges, I realized I wanted to do something to help heal people. I had always privately studied organic foods, yoga, and meditation but I wanted to be a bigger part of a movement I saw people taking into holistic health.
I ended up choosing a very special school called The Heartwood Institute located in Garberville, CA, where you live in the mountains of Humboldt County and learn about taking care of yourself and how to do effective heartfelt, ethical bodywork. I graduated with a certification in Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage Therapy in February of 2003 and then set up my first massage practice in Santa Cruz a year later. After a while I realized the music was still calling me. As I had always been a musician myself and wanted to know more about sound, I then moved to Winter Park, FL and graduated from Full Sail University with an Associate in Recording Arts in 2006. In 2007 I became Full Sail University’s Coordinator of Show Production and eventually all audio programs for about three and a half years and met many amazing instructors, producers and musicians as well as learned about the ins and outs of the show production industry.
I guess you could say I am a “Jill of all Trades”, as I have worked for chiropractors, spas, outcalls, and myself for the last ten years doing massage, cake decorating, waiting tables and yes working in the rock and roll industry! As an official Dot Bot I feel extremely fortunate to bring my hybrid experience of music and massage to Dr. Dot’s International Massage and Chiropractic team. I look forward to bringing you peace and relaxation, so you can rock the mic at every show!

I am a nationally and Virginia state certified massage therapist. I studied massage at Dabney S. Lancaster Community College where I learned Swedish massage techniques as well as oriental bodywork. Before I became a massage therapist I had received my Reiki attunements and I channel this energy during my work.
I firmly believe in the use of massage for healing, pain relief, and speeding recovery. Through my exploration of the healing arts I have also taken interest in sound healing using a planetary tuning fork set and crystal singing bowls. I have worked in several spa settings in the past and I specialize in Swedish massage with the ability to go deep when needed. When I am not doing massage I’m out hiking or riding my bicycle in the hills of Virginia. I am happy to be a part of Dr. Dot’s team and hope to work with you soon.
