Book me:firstname.lastname@example.org and write: “Essi/Helsinki” in subject line 🙂
Hello, my name is Essi and I come from Helsinki Finland. When I was young I always envied people who knew what they wanted to be when they grew old… I had no idea. As I did not know what I wanted I moved to the Swiss mountains, to a ski town called Verbier, and lived as a ski bum for few years. Being inspired by the multi cultural environment I wanted to find a more serious way to stay so I took a massage course hoping to find stable work there. But little did I know that this work would become so much more than only a way to make money. It became my thing.
I graduated as a massage therapist 1999. Few years working and doing an apprentice with a local Healer woman opened my eyes for a whole new world. I started to be passionate about work and the human being. In 2002 I started my studies of osteopathy from which I graduated spring 2007.
Today I am a qualified osteopath and massage therapist and just loving what I do. With all the treatments that I do my aim is to heal and to give a good feeling. After living ten years in different countries I returned home to Helsinki where I continue meeting interesting people and learning about life. This is one of the many reasons Dr Dot’s offer to work for her was an opportunity that I just couldn’t pass.

As a Chiropractic Physician for over 22 years, originally in New York, then relocating my practice shortly thereafter to the Palm Beaches of Florida where I also became certified in Acupuncture.
In my practice I treat all musculoskeletal and extremity complaints by utilizing multiple techniques geared specifically for each individual patient. This personally tailored protocol for their neck, shoulder, arm, back pain etc., helps my patients get relief and “back to normal” more quickly.
Through adding Acupuncture, a variety of issues can be resolved including stress management, migraine headaches, sleep issues, etc.
In my formative years I was a drummer in various bands in New York and fully understand the stress of being on the road. As a longtime member myself in Screen Actors Guild, AFTRA, etc., I have had numerous opportunities to treat many patients in this industry throughout the years. Therefore, I am already quite comfortable in the entertainment industry environment as I understand their needs while maintaining a professional, yet comfortable, approach in helping them get well.
