I feel honored and silly for caring about it..
I sent him that pic a year ago I think.. better late than never
You simply have to read about this band to understand:
Bassist Bryan Beller and his wife Kira are friends of mine. Bryan and Mike, below are playing with Dethklok currently. It was a very unique experience for me to see this show. Not used to that kind of music (extremely hard rock, almost like death metal I guess) but the animation they show during their concert was so bizarre. Words fail me. Probably because it is 10 am and I am STILL up. I think I have strep throat 🙁 FUCK!! Gotta get to bed. Tour dates below
Frank Zappa alum and friend, Mike Keneally . I haven't seen him in person since I was on the 1988 Frank Zappa tour! We have kept in touch online, but it was GREAT to see him again. SUPER nice guy, AMAZING guitarist.

Napoleon (aka Napi) called me last night from Amsterdam, told me he is there recording with Zappa alum George Duke. Asked me to come over if I was in Berlin, but I am not I am in NYC, so I can't massage those guys even though I would love to be there. Can't be everywhere at once, innit? He also mentioned doing press for the upcoming release of his cd:
An historical CD will be released in December 2009 entitled “This is What Frank Zappa Heard – Just in Case You Were Wondering – Live at the Red Noodle in Waikiki, Hawaii”.
On August 8th, 1973, Frank Zappa was alerted by his road manager, Marty Perellis, that an incredible band with an extraordinary lead singer was performing downtown to a
standing room only audience … and that it might be wise that he come and see this for himself.
When Zappa went to the club and watched the show, he saw a young talent sing, dance, play sax, flute and keyboards, in a manner that clearly made it appear that he was having
more fun than even the other patrons in the club.
After two hours of observing and listening to this young man and his very disciplined band of musicians, he introduced himself as Frank Zappa, and the young man introduced
himself as Napoleon Murphy Brock. The next words out of Zappa’s mouth were, “You are my new lead vocalist.” (Check napol

Hi, I’m Kristin. I was born in Waikiki, Hawaii, and raised in Washington State. Massage has always been a way of life in Hawaii, and being raised Hawaiian Style, it was always something that the children did for the elders. It was while working as an assistant to a chiropractor/Hawaiian Kahuna that I realized the gift that I hold in my hands. He was the one who told me, “I have the knack.”
I finished Massage school in 2002, and went on the road for a year selling concessions with a show. It was upon returning home to the Tacoma area that I seriously started practicing massage and there has been no turning back. I worked for 3 years in a Physical Therapy clinic perfecting my injury/rehabilitation massage. I am Nationally Certified and a member of the ABMP (Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals). I am trained in many different modalities and pull them out of my “toolbox” as needed.
- Hot Stone
- Massage Cupping
- Structural Relief Therapy
- Deep Tissue Hawaiian Lomi Lomi
- Manual Lymphatic Drainage
- Reiki Master/Teacher
It is my philosophy in life to do the best at what it is you haven chosen to do. I am both honored and excited to be a part of the Dr. Dot team.
I look forward to working with you when you are in the Tacoma/Seattle area.

I celebrated my "30th" birthday (again 🙂 at Tonic in NYC KARAOKE!! (me, Chrissi, Catherine W. and Jonesy, not pictured, too)
Santiego, from "hand of god" Argentina. He is a drummer in a rock band, he hung with us for a while. Pretty dude eh?
So NYC is cold again. We were lucky and had a couple SUPER warm days, but the leg warmers went back on today, omfg. FREEZIN'. I went for my MRI the other day of left knee and will go Monday to ORTHO Doc to have him analyze it and tell me which surgery I will need. NOT looking forward to that!
So I had to buy a new Mac, the latest one they have, Snow Leopard program, goes SUPER FAST, it's like butter!! Still keeping old one though, one can never have too many Mac Book Pros!! They truly are the best. I bought a new one as the old one had a keyboard issue and I THOUGHT I would have to go without it for a week but APPLE called 18 hours after I dropped off old one for repairs saying it was ready for pick up. DAM those folks are good. But as I said, this new one is miles faster. I JUST need to learn how to use iMovies and I will be happy.
Been spending LOTS of time with Jasmine since I have been back and that is always a good thing. So strange, when I am in Berlin I feel at home there and don't want to leave. Same thing happens when I am here in NYC. BUT then my heart yearns to live in England, it always has and always will. I know it is expensive and dangerous too, but I just love England. Perhaps the grass is always greener and I wouldn't like it if I lived there. Last time I massaged Simon Cowell, it was in Birmingham and I told him I would love to just move there and stay and he freaked out and said "Good Lord Dot, not there, London is the place for you!". ha.
"Chasing Amy" is on TV. Great movie. This film made my ex EXTREMELY uncomfortable, guess it hit too close to home (about a guy dating a HOT chick and his best friend being bitchy and trying to break them up, turns out his friend is secretly in love with him) heh heh.
NYC is still fun and there is karaoke every single night in more than one place but I don't like to go out more than once a week (if that). Dealing with drunks is just annoying. Got a Spinning bike and treadmill at my flat now and weights (who needs to join a gym?). Plus I have more than enough writing to do. At the end of the day (which for me is around 5 or 6 am) I am so exhausted from answering emails that I never get around to writing the books I want to write (& Blog) and have to REALLY dig deep to find the time to write my sex columns (I LOVE helping folks but turning all the Q & A's into a tidy column is not as easy as you may think).
Trying out something new- writing this while on new spin bike- working ok so far. Just hate sitting still for too long, which is a problem as most of my work is done online coordinating massages and answering people's love/relationship/sex questions. LOTS of time on ass in front of computer and I hate it.
Gota go, sweating is NOT good for the new Mac.. by the way, how HOT is Madonna lately? SCHWING! You go girl!!
ps. Follow me on twitter, I write on there much more often than here as I can do so anywhere:
Email me at: firstname.lastname@example.org and put “Emma/Munich”in subject line please 🙂
My name is Emma. I did my exam in medical massages 24 years ago. Since then I never stopped learning new massage techniques. My two lovely kids were very often my inspiration to go and on. Some interesting classes of the past were for example Footreflex-Segment-Dorntherapy, Lymphdrainage, Deep Tissue, Hot Stone, Ayurveda, Aromatherapy- or Thai-massage.
My signature massage is a customized mix out of all these techniques, sometimes moor powerful, sometimes softer, just as the clients need is. My clients are mostly sportsman like football player, mountain-bikers, marathonians, triathletes or the guests of the five star hotels I am working at.
Besides giving massages with my loving hands I teach interested people in reflexology massages at the adult education center.
